What is CUET ? – Central Universities Entrance Test is also known as CUET exam.
The CUET is a national entrance examination for research, postgraduate, and undergraduate programs.
The exam will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) and be of the objective kind.
What is the structure of exam ?
For Research course :
Part A: Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude, analytical skills and Research Methodology-consisting of 50 MCQs Part B: Domain Knowledge-consisting of 50 MCQs
For Postgraduate course :
More than 72 test papers will be available for different courses on CUET. The information leaflet issued by NTA has a detailed mapping of test paper code to course and university.
For Undergraduate course :
The CUET-UG consist of language test, domain-specific papers, and the general test. Candidates can opt for combination of at most 2 languages and 6 domain-specific subject or 3 languages and 5 domain-specific tests.
Do we have negative markings ?
One mark is deducted for each incorrect response in the UG and PG programs’ negative marking policy. For research programs, however, negative marking is not use.

- Step 1 – Go to the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in.

- Step 2 – On the home page, click on the ‘View CUET UG Result 2023’.
- Step 3 – Enter the CUET application number and date of birth on the result login page.
- Step 4 – Now, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

- Step 5 – The CUET result will get displayed on the screens in the form of a scorecard.
- Step 6 – Download the CUET UG 2023 result page and save it for future reference.

What is the cost of CUET application form ?
Candidates who took the CUET exam may be eligible for admission consideration at a number of Indian universities. The application price for the CUET 2025 Exam UG, which includes up to 10 topics, is Rs. 1750 for general (UR), Rs. 1650 for NCL/EWS, and Rs. 1550 for SC/ST/PwBD/third gender.
